Continuing Education
RACE Credits
Application for continuing education credits will be submitted for AAVSB RACE approval. Participants should be aware that some boards have limitations on the number of hours accepted in certain categories and/or restrictions on certain methods of delivery of continuing education. The maximum number of credits approved for the 2011 meeting was 42.50. The number of credit hours for the 2012 program will be available in November.
PACE Credits
ASVCP-VLP is approved as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the ASCLS P.A.C.E. Program. Application will be made for continuing education credit for Clinical Laboratory Scientists in jurisdictions which recognize PACE credits. Last year, the program received 9 credit hours. The number of credit hours for the 2012 program will be available in November.
