The ACVP is once again hosting its Career Center at the 2012 Annual Meeting. The Annual Meeting draws hundreds of veterinary pathologists. The Career Center offers an unprecedented opportunity for recruiters and employers to meet veterinary pathologists seeking current information about their labor market.

We invite employers to participate in the Career Center, both onsite at the Annual Meeting and through the virtual Career Center. Both sites provide a showplace for employers to post position announcements. The on-site Center additionally provides employers with a collection of CVs from job seekers.

How It Works
There is one price per job announcement displayed at both the online Career Center and on-site Career Center: $200 USD

The Virtual Career Center
All announcements posted on the online Career Center after July 1 will be featured in the on-site Career Center. Job
searchers wishing to contact employers in confidence can contact them directly.

The On-Site Career Center
The On-Site Career Center is December 1-December 5 at the Annual Meeting. Employers do not have to be present,
although we encourage it. Computers will be available to attendees for viewing job postings. Each job announcement will have a designated folder where job searchers will have the opportunity to confidentially place their CVs. Job searchers may also include their CVs in binders for viewing onsite by employers at the Annual Meeting. Remember that the attendees at the ACVP Annual Meeting include board-certified veterinary pathologists, board-eligible professionals, trainees, and students.

An excellent way to effectively use your recruiting dollars is to rent a booth in the ACVP Exhibit Area at the Annual Meeting. More and more employers are using this method to increase their visibility to prospective employees.

How to Participate
Please email your job announcements and contact information in a word document or in the body of your email to
Jess Goedken at jgoedken@acvp.org. The job posting will be live within five business days. A confirmation email and
an invoice will be sent to you after the position is posted. To view samples of current postings, please visit the ACVP
