meeting at the Semiahmoo Resort and Spa in Blaine, Washington from 2 – 7
August 2009. The mission of the WDA is to acquire, disseminate, and apply
knowledge regarding health and disease of wild animals in relation to their
biology, conservation, and ecology including interactions with humans and domestic
animals. The Journal of Wildlife Diseases is published quarterly and
contributing authors and other WDA members work for universities, governmental
agencies, zoological institutions, private businesses, and agricultural and
