RESIDENCY IN ANATOMICAL VETERINARY PATHOLOGY
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Glasgow
is offering a 3-year programme of intensive training in all aspects
of veterinary anatomical pathology, designed to fulfil requirements
for sitting the certifying examinations of the European and/or
American Colleges of Veterinary Pathologists.
The Resident will
contribute to necropsy and surgical biopsy services under supervision
and assist with pathology training seminars, undergraduate teaching
and operational aspects of the diagnostic service. There will
be a small research project; first class and well-equipped laboratory
facilities are available, and support will be provided for attendance
at appropriate conferences.
Preference will be given to candidates
with clinical and/or diagnostic experience who have an interest
in research, particularly those with a PhD.
