Anatomic Pathology Faculty Position

The Biomedical Sciences and Pathobiology Department of the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applications for an Anatomic Pathologist.

This tenure-track faculty position is available January 10, 2004. Primary responsibilities include sharing in gross and microscopic pathology service with the other pathologists, teaching in the professional veterinary curriculum, and guiding students in the Pathology Residency and Graduate Program. In addition, research and publication is an expectation of all faculty. The position requires a D.V.M. or equivalent degree and eligibility for A.C.V.P. board certification, with the expectation that Diplomate status will be achieved within 2 years of appointment. Preferences will be given to candidates who hold a Ph.D. and/or are already Diplomates of the A.C.V.P. Rank and salary is commensurate with experience.
