Anatomic Pathologist

The Texas Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory, a member of the Texas A&M University System, has an immediate opening for a full-time anatomic pathologist. The Laboratory, located in the central Panhandle City of Amarillo is accredited by the AAVLD and currently employs 3 anatomic pathologists. The laboratory accepts submissions from a variety of companion, food-producing, and exotic animals with an emphasis on food animals. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with expertise or desire to develop expertise in dairy, feedlot, cow-calf, or swine pathology. The Laboratory is located in a busy, rapidly growing medical center complex with three hospitals, a school of Pharmacy, and a branch of the Texas Tech Medical School. The Texas A&M Agriculture Research and Extension Center, USDA-ARS Research Center, and members of an agriculture consortium including multiple Universities, closely interact with the Diagnostic Laboratory, providing research opportunities.
