Apply online at www.pfizer.com Pathologists We are seeking veterinary pathologists to serve as Study Directors and Study Pathologists on studies that will mostly be of 13-weeks and longer duration and include carcinogenicity studies. The successful candidates must be a DVM and a Diplomate of the ACVP. A PhD degree is desirable. Candidates will provide input on study design and provide descriptions and interpretive summaries of in-life, clinical pathology, gross, and histopathologic changes produced in laboratory and farm animals given new drug candidates. Candidates need to be able to integrate complex data and possess advanced problem-solving skills, strong scientific acumen, and excellent oral and written communication skills. Findings and interpretations will be presented in written and oral reports to peers, management, and regulatory agencies. Experience as a study director and study pathologist in a GLP-compliant environment within the pharmaceutical industry is an asset. The candidate will be expected to work closely with Drug Safety Evaluation colleagues at multiple Pfizer R&D sites in the U.S., Europe, and Japan.
