Assistant Professor of Mouse Pathology (tenure track) School of Veterinary Medicine, University of California, Davis. DVM or equivalent with advanced training in the pathology of laboratory animals, specifically genetically altered mice. PhD required. Board certification or eligibility in Veterinary Anatomic pathology required. Demonstrated aptitude/experience in teaching. Documented research record or potential to develop an independent research program utilizing contemporary pathology and molecular technologies for the characterization of disease pathogenesis utilizing genetically altered mice. Interest in developmental biology, infectious diseases, or tumor biology preferred. Potential and/or demonstrated ability in acquisition of extramural funding. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work with others in a collegial team atmosphere.
