CLINICAL PATHOLOGIST

Axiom Veterinary Laboratories requires a full time Clinical Pathologist to join our friendly team of 11 vets to cover our continually expanding workload. Clinical pathologist duties will include cytology reading, report writing (chemistry, microbiology and endocrine interpretation and haematology reviews), liaising with our clients and participation within internal discussion groups.

This position by necessity will be based in Newton Abbot.

Hours: Mon to Friday based on a 40 hour week but some flexibility is required and Saturday mornings 09.00 am - 13.00 pm, currently on a 1 in 10 rota.
CPD allowance, with encouragement for further study.
Five weeks holiday

Ideal candidates will have good communication and interpersonal skills, eligibility for registration with the RCVS, and a postgraduate qualification in clinical pathology.
