Anatomic Pathologist
The Wisconsin Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (WVDL) has a position
available for a full-time veterinary anatomic-diagnostic pathologist
beginning summer, 2009, at a rank of clinical assistant professor. The
primary responsibilities of this position are diagnostic pathology, case
coordination, and consultation with referring DVMs. The WVDL is
part of the University of Wisconsin, and this position is at the Madison
lab located adjacent to the School of Veterinary Medicine; the facilities
are state of the art. Most WVDL faculty have additional appointments
within the Department of Pathobiological Sciences at the School of Veterinary
Medicine and participate in teaching and other activities. Opportunity
for applied research and scholarly activity is present. Applicants
must have a DVM degree or equivalent and advanced training in veterinary
pathology; ACVP certification or intent to achieve certification is a
plus. Wisconsin veterinary licensure or eligibility for licensure
with subsequent attainment is required. Salary and rank will be
commensurate with ability, credentials, and experience. Send curriculum
