It is internationally recognised as a centre of excellence for advanced diagnostics, immunohistochemistry, and research concerning infectious and non-infectious diseases, specialising in horses, dogs and cats.

We are currently seeking a pathologist to participate in diagnostic service work and contribute to clinical research.  The work focuses on surgical biopsies, cytology and post mortem evaluations.  There are opportunities to participate in a variety of collaborations in multidisciplinary research; examples include, but are not limited to, the fields of equine infectious disease and companion animal oncology and internal medicine.

The ability to take primary responsibility for cases, work within deadlines and have a pro-active approach to problem solving is essential.  Candidates with experience in both clinical pathology and pathology are of particular interest.  The post is ideal for a pathologist who has completed or will shortly complete a residency and has attained or is planning shortly to take the membership examinations of the European/American College of Veterinary Pathologists or Royal College of Pathologists.  CPD is encouraged and supported. Salary is commensurate with experience.
