The University of Nottingham’s School of Veterinary Medicine and
Science is the first new veterinary school to open in the UK for 50 years.
The veterinary world is facing new challenges and it is our aim to equip
graduates with the diagnostic, medical and surgical skills required to
succeed in a changing world. We aim to provide a progressive, dynamic environment
which will deliver an outstanding learning experience drawing upon leading-edge
teaching methods and the latest research advances. We plan to offer an
exciting and innovative five-year degree course which is designed with
clinical outcomes in mind and is based upon excellence in teaching informed
by scientific research.
Applications are invited for a Professor of Veterinary
Pathology.
The School
is divided into three clinical divisions each responsible for teaching
the basic clinical sciences as well as clinical subjects. We expect the
ew academic member of staff to share our vision, be dynamic and be able
to innovate and seize opportunities. A willingness to collaborate with
other Schools within the University and to play a key role throughout the
academic community at Nottingham is essential.
Salary will be within the
Professorial range, minimum £55,259 per
annum.
It is a condition of this post that satisfactory enhanced disclosure
