The Dow Chemical Company's Toxicology Laboratory, located in Midland,
Michigan, has an exciting opportunity for an ACVP board-certified Veterinary
Pathologist. Candidates with an advanced degree in pathology and
toxicology experience are preferred, however, candidates that are board
eligible will also be considered. The successful candidate will join more
than 100 people, including three board-certified veterinary pathologists
and a large and diverse group of scientists in the Health and Environmental & Consulting
Laboratory.
Responsibilities for this position include assisting in the design and conduct
of registration and mechanistic studies; interpretation of clinical pathologic,
gross, microscopic, ultrastructural, and morphometric data; and providing expert
consultation within the toxicology laboratory and to Dow's global businesses.
Strong spoken and written communication skills are necessary, as is the ability
to work within a multidisciplinary team.
