Charles River Laboratories Preclinical Services, Edinburgh provides fully comprehensive laboratory research, product development and clinical services. Charles River's 8000 employees serve clients in more than 50 countries.
Main duties will be the gross and histological pathological evaluation of toxicology studies. This involves some non-routine techniques such as image analysis and immunostaining, liaising with other departments within the Company, contact with external research institutes and the general advancement of the departments scientific work.
You must have a veterinary degree and ideally some postgraduate experience in pathology. Membership of the Royal College of Pathologists and/ or equivalent would also be an advantage otherwise a willingness to study for the examinations will be a requirement.
