Certifying Examination
In order to certify professional competency, the College has established standards of training and experience, and two certifying examinations recognized by the American Board of Veterinary Specialists of the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Veterinary Pathology Journal
Veterinary Pathology, the official journal of the College, serves to further scientific progress in veterinary pathology. The online version is located at www.vetpathology.org.

Educational Programs
The ACVP promotes education in veterinary and comparative pathology by supporting educational programs across the broad spectrum of pathology including mechanisms of disease, target organ pathology, pathology issues in safety assessment, and technological innovations. The ACVP recognizes the importance of student recruitment into the discipline and supports students through externships and scholarships.

Annual Meeting
The annual meeting of the ACVP is held jointly with the American Society for Veterinary Clinical Pathology and is designed for all individuals involved in the fields of veterinary and comparative pathology.
