The Leyden Group is a Colorado based recruiting and search firm which works exclusively in the safety assessment/toxicology/pathology disciplines. Among our commitments to the toxicologic pathology community is ongoing support of the ACVP/STP Coalition post-doctoral program.

We have been engaged by Bristol Myers Squibb at their New Brunswick, NJ location to identify an experienced, board certified toxicologic pathologist.

Experience required includes ACVP Board certification and not less than three years  in a GLP drug development environment. In addition to excellent interpretive pathology skills, the company seeks a person with a strong scientific background, ideally to include a PhD. Experience as a representative on drug development project teams and/or experience leading toxicology issue resolution, is preferred.

Job responsibilities include acting as a study pathologist, conducting pathology peer reviews, ensuring compliance with GLP and animal welfare guidelines and representing the department on development project teams and other internal/external settings as assigned. This person will also be involved in contributing to investigational studies/strategies for toxicology issue resolution.
