Career Fair 2005

Important Dates:

Career Center: January 1-September 30, 2005
Virtual Career Fair: October 1-December 31, 2005
Onsite Career Fair: December 3-7, 2005

ACVP will once again host its Career Fair at the 2005 Annual Meeting, to be held at the Marriott Copley Square Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts this year. The Annual Meeting draws hundreds of attendees and offers an unprecedented opportunity for recruiters, employers, veterinary pathologists, trainees and students to meet each other.

We invite employers and job seekers to participate in the Fair, both onsite at the Annual Meeting and through the virtual site.

How to Participate

Employers: Pay $100 per position announcement that is displayed at both the virtual and onsite Career Fairs.

Job Seekers: There is no cost to participate in the Fair.

The Virtual Career Fair (opens October 1, 2005)

Employers: Submit your position announcements at the Registration Desk at the Annual Meeting.

Job Seekers: View the positions online and contact employers in confidence. The Onsite Career Fair (opens December 3, 2005 at the Boston meeting)

Employers: All positions submitted prior to the Annual Meeting will be included in indexed binders that will be available for viewing at the Career Fair booth in the Exhibit Hall. Employers may bring or send last-minute position descriptions and fee payment to the Career Fair. Employers do not need to be present at the onsite Fair.

Each announcement will also have a designated folder attached to a wallboard where job seekers will have the opportunity to confidentially place their CVs.

Job Seekers: You may bring copies of your CV with you to the Career Fair for submission in position announcement folders or directly to any employers you may meet at the Annual Meeting.

Additionally, you may submit your CV in advance for inclusion in the CV binder that will be available for viewing at the Career Fair booth. When submitting your CV, please indicate the type of position which you are interested in.
